CASE STUDY
Incert was approached in June 2004 by a third party working on behalf of HMG, with an urgent request for assistance for a Security Manager in Iraq.
Crown Agents approached Incert Ltd, on behalf of DFID, detailing the need for an experienced security expert to fill, at short notice, the position of Security Manager for the British Ministries in Baghdad. The requirement was for an individual prepared to contract for a minimum of six months, with previous Iraq experience, who would be able to manage the security needs of civil servants and other individuals operating from the International Zone on behalf of the British Government.
Incert conducted a rapid search and short-listed an individual who was ideally suited for this role and was very keen to do it. Within 10 days of the initial call, the individual had been chosen and an offer accepted by Incert and the individual.
The incumbent is now in post and all administration and planning required for such a short notice deployment went smoothly. Deadlines were met and client and contractor more than happy. |
